Walara Hamley Bridge $3M Redevelopment

$3M REDEVELOPMENT OF WALARA HAMLEY BRIDGE COMMENCES

Malcom May Chair of the Walara Board is pleased to announce the recent commencement of the $3M redevelopment of the Walara Hamley Bridge.

Malcolm May said that the redevelopment of the facility was overdue, and it will include access to ensuites for all residents, a new dining and lounge areas, new reception and expansion of the facility from 48 to 50 beds.

Chief Executive Officer of Walara, Nino Di Sisito said that Walara was pleased to be working with the successful architect Brown Falconer and builder Mossop, who are experienced in redevelopment of aged care facilities in the country.

Chief Operating Officer – Rob Veitch has assumed a lead role with the redevelopment on behalf of Walara working closely with the architect, builder, local community, residents and staff.

Rob Veitch said this was an exciting development for the community offering additional employment, an increased care to local community and two additional beds.
